US Third Army

Update on my second army for the 2019 Tale of Five Gamers. I have completed the 500 point army "Relief of Bastogne" to support my 101st Airborne, but also to help get through the HUGE backlog I have for bolt Action... so progress with this army is well needed!

This US army has been built, painted and based, so I earn the 3 points available for January. 

Now i need to battle with this army for more points, and then build this army to 750 points ready for the next battle.

By the end of this challenge I will hopefully have a sizeable army for the US when the challenge is complete!  

Month one is primarily infantry based, with potential for a Sherman to be added in month 2! So keep an eye out on what comes next!

Next up is Helena's Irish Guard army.  Unfortunately as she has been busy with work and other things, this project has had to take a back seat... needless to say, she has the opportunity this month to pull back to 750 points. 

However, by not building, painting or basing a 500 point army Helena scores 0 points for month 1.

Still lots to play for and many more points available... Good luck for February, with both the battle and building the next stage of the army... 750 points.

Relief of Bastogne

US Third Army

For my second army for the 2019 Tale of Five Gamers I have started the relief of Bastogne to support my 101st Airborne, but also to help get through the HUGE backlog I have for bolt Action. 

This US army will be built, painted and battle in addition to my 101st Airborne ;Battered Bastards of Bastogne Army' and will hopefully give me a sizeable army for the US when the challenge is complete!  

Month one is primarily infantry based, with potential for a Sherman to be added in month 2!  However I do plan on having a 1/2 track to support the US winter army.
